X3 lcd help!

  • hey guys,

    ive got an x3 lcd and its works, but the problem is that when i enable it in the settings, whenever i exit out of xbmc and go back into it or even when i boot up my xbox and xbmc as dash the settings revert to default and the lcd wont come on, and i ahve to go set the settings manually every time, its asif the settings dont save.

    any ideas?

  • can someone please help me? is there like a file i can edit with all the settings in it or somehting?

    all i can say is its in the changelog as fixed as of 20-11-2004

    the xbmc team does not distribute these builds. you're best bet is to build it yourself. if you can confirm your build date, it may still be broken. see this thread which you would've found by simply searching for "x3 lcd".

    (one problem people have with the forum search is that it defaults to "this month and newer" which really limits the returned threads)


  • yeah ive just put version 1212 expert and it doesnt even have an lcd option in the settings menu, but im dling the 23-12 version now hopefully it works

    is there an lcd setting in the 1212 expert?

  • yeah it reverts back to smartxx, thanks heaps dude, ive got version 1212 expert will that do?


  • does it keep reverting back to smartxx lcd? if so, its been fixed already and you need a build beyond 20-11-2004.
