Web Page is messed up in other browsers

March 10th, 2010 by wktd
  • I e-mailed the web page I designed to a friend. When she opened up
the page it was missing the first three sentences and the photograph
disappeared leaving a box with an "x" in it. :smack:

So then I sent an e-mail to one of my online mailboxes so I could
see what happened there. The photograph had morphed into the same box
with an "x" but the first 3 sentences on the page were intact.

I'd read about checking your web page in different browsers. Is
there a way to do this in 1st page and how do you code your
web page so it can be seen in all browsers?

Oh the plight of the "newbie".
    Any ideas?

  • You can not see the image because you did not send the image. The x is the replacement for missin images in M$IE. If you want to allow him/her to view it thyen zip all the files up and send it.
