Skins?

  • recently had my xbox chipped with an xbit chip and had a friend install xbmc onto the box. very pleased...

    whilst navigating around the various menus... (system settings_ appearance) i decided to change the appearance. silly me... not even sure which appearance i selected - possibly "project mayhem". when i rebooted the xbox the new skin? was present - looked good! problem is when i try to go into system settings and try and change the appearance back it can not be selected. also "my files" just blank screens. the build of the original xbmc is sometime in november. i can ftp to the box, and can use the ftp utility to see all the files. but - i just want to revert to the old skin. how can i do this...!

    i have downloaded some new skins and ftped them to f:/skins - do i have to place a xml file somewhere so that when it boots it uses this skin?

    apologies if this is a confused ramble - but i need some help


  • delete the folder:

    e:/tdata/0face008/

    that should do the trick :d
