I own an all black 1999 Crown Vic P71 with spotlights and a push bar on it and don't know whether it would look better with or without the push bar. The only reason I am even considering taking it off in the first place is to put less weight on my car's ride and to avoid any harassment from the police about the look of my car. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. You should keep it on and paint the car to look like this and get a personalized plate reading BDR529
http://www.stillruns.com/blues_mobile-2....leave them on they look cool! Only way you can get hasseled is to have lights and stickers saying it belongs to a dept.I used to have a chevy impala police interceptor with the push bar and spot-light still installed. Cops never pulled me over for speeding. In fact, some even waived as they drove by going the opposite way. Buttheads on the road never cut you off or tailgate you. You get all the respect in the world. Besides, it really looks better with it on. i personally thing that crown vics look BETTER with the push bar on.
it shows authority and people wont cut you off.
My friend has a 2003 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor FULLY LOADED under cover type.
we drove right past alot of cops and they never say anything.
He took the push bar off and it didnt look that great.
Hope this help you.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
