Ok, so I was at my pediatrician for a physical a few months ago (im 13 years old turning 14 in december) and she asked if I got my period yet and I said no, cause i didnt. She said I should get it like really soon and if i dont get it by december or january i need to call and see her? Say I don't get my period by december or january, do i need to make an appointment to see her? shes a pediatrican. and say i do, what do i make the call for? like hi, i didnt get my period? and what will she do if i dont get it by dec/january and i see her.

and this is not a gyn this is a pediatrician First, it's okay to see your pediatrician about this - you don't have to see a gynecologist for basic menstruation things. Though if she is worried she may refer you to a gyn.
If it should happen that you need to make the call, just tell the receptionist that you're calling for a checkup appointment. If they need more detail (probably won't), it's okay to say, 'Dr. wanted me to call if I hadn't gotten my period yet.' They'll just put that in the notes for your file.
As far as what she will do, I don't know for sure, but she'll probably want to know how you're eating, how much you're exercising, what you weigh, and about your stress levels. These are all things that can mess with menstruation. Don't worry about it - it sounds like she just wants to make sure you're progressing without any problems. :)Everyone is different. I can't imagine why she would tell you if you didn't get it by Dec/Jan to call her. She may have just decided that if you don't have it by then she might want to refer you to a gynecologist. Without knowing your medical history her reasons for this request aren't clear to me. If it comes down to it and you need to make the call, just call and ask her to return your call. If they want a reason, you can just tell them she had ask you to call if in Dec. and you need to talk to her. Any good pediatrician will call you back. Then you two can talk about it and find out what she wants to do. But don't stress out over it. That will just make your body postpone it possibly. Don't worry it will come and then you'll have the rest of your life to deal with it. Hopefully, it won't be an issue and you won't have to call her anyway.

im little and my doctor and everyone was like "if you dont get your period WAY SOON then something is seriously wrong with you"
and i didn't even get it till i was 14 almost 15 and it was fine
just dont even call her
wait for your body, it will come naturally and nothings gonna be wrong.
plus whatttt your only 13, its FINE
