I took this in my garden the other day. He sat still for a long time. I like how he moved his little legs so I could really get a shot of his face.

What lens did you use? Could you get closer? His positioning is good, but he's sort of lost in the shrubbery.More cropping-it gets too grainy if I crop more. I used a Nikon D40 to take the photo, f/10 aperture, 55mm, ISO 800. I *heart* Flickr!

And for the grain you can get a demo version of NeatImage or other noise reduction program. I use NeatImage and it works like a charm :)Crop him closer?Hellou,
I agree also on the cropping. Maybe some color adjustment, make the bee's color stand out.
